11. Aug. 2020    -   An Iroquois cell with a fictitious registration D-HAQO at Malta Aviation Museum

Another Iroquois-cell used for a film shoot in Malta with fictitious registration D-HAQO, ID not yet known.
The translucent paint on the tailboom suggests that it is a cell from the inventory of the police in Bolivia.

11. Aug. 2020    -   Former 66-0749 Iroquois of the US Army was used in a film shoot at Malta

A cell from the stocks of the US Army was used for a film shoot in Malta and then donated to the Malta Aviation Museum Foundation.
The cell of the US Army was previously registered 66-0749 and repainted for the film shoot.

11. Aug. 2020    -   A black spot in the German civil helicopter story

The terrible assassination attempt on the occasion of the 1972 Olympic Games in Munich will shortly have its 50th anniversary.
The cell that was destroyed at Fuerstenfeldbruck Air Base back in september 1972 is currently owned by the Malta Aviation Museum Foundation and resting beside a hangar.

Airbus has delivered a factory new H135 to the US market and registered the helicopter to Airbus Helicopters Inc., Texas, USA, in early August 2020.

Thanks to Rainer Linder we today added the first image of D-HCBC(15), taken on a test-flight at Augsburg prior to delivery to Dutch ANWB as PH-UMC.

A new Robinson R44 entered the German civil helicopter register, painted in all black c/s and on permit since June.

Unfortunately this beauty was involved in a heavy autorotation landing back in the year 2015 and is since cancelled from the register.

A factory-new H145 has been delivered to Russia and entered the Russian civil aviation register as RA-07343 in July 2020.
